WORTH IT
A little about me- I'm 38 and I just had my 2nd (and last) baby. I'm 5'4 116lbs bra size 36dd. I have always had large breast and have wanted a lift for the past 10 years but I have waited patiently to start my family first. Now it's my time! I am only 2 lbs away from my goal weight and I'm also considering lipo of my flanks but that is undecided.
I've met with several doctors in the dfw area and found my dr soulmate yesterday. Dr. Scott Kasden. Other doctors rushed through my consultation and didn't ask me any questions of my desired outcome and I felt like I wasn't taken seriously. When I met with Dr. Kasden he was VERY thorough and spent nearly 2 hours with me! He asked me a million questions and explained everything to me about the procedure. I feel like he isn't in his practice for the money but to actually help people feel and look their very best. In the waiting room he had an elderly patient waiting and brought her a glass of water because she looked dehydrated! I was amazed and almost cried. I talked with Beth who is a very helpful, sweet lady and she booked my surgery for January 12. I'm so excited, pics are coming soon. I will post more after my pre-op app.

Pre op in 2 days!!!!

Just 2 more days until my pre op appointment and 5 days until surgery. I'm getting so nervous!! I'm now second guessing myself on rather or not to have an implant and also the size I would like to be. I told the ps I would like a c cup but now I'm thinking small d. I want them small but not sure I want them THAT small. And if I decided on an implant is it too late? I'm freaking out!!
On another note I've arranged for my mom to help me with my babies one week and a nanny the second. I really hope that's enough time to recover before picking them up , as this has been my main concern. I'm crying already that I won't be able to hold my 4mo.
I've bought all my supplies and supplements and have stopped eating sugar and drinking alcohol as of January 1. I've also been busy getting my house in order to make things a lot easier on my mom. Her and I are looking forward to relaxing together and watching lots of tv!
I'll repost in two days after my pre op!!

Looking at the wish pics you posted, you might have a hard time getting that much fullness and roundness without an implant, but it depends on how dense and full your breasts are to begin with and their natural shape and placement. The Horndeski method (the third one you posted) is its own animal, as he uses tissue to make a support structure inside the breast that gives it that shape and lift (I call them [RS bleep]-star breasts, sorry that's just what they look like to me!) Reviews I have seen seem to be divided on that method and surgeon, some love, some hate, but it's definitely a technique most surgeons don't use, so be realistic about your expectations. If you're thinking about an implant *at all* you should probably contact your surgeon right away and ask about it. Some docs do it in one procedure, others will lift first and do the implant second, but you can also just do a smaller reduction with lift and maybe later on down the road decide if you want to add an implant if you want more upper fullness. If you are self paying then you have all kinds of options! But definitely contact your surgeons office right away if you are thinking about changing the plan. Good luck!

I'm so happy with my results! I can't believe what a difference a breast lift made for my entire body. I feel like my body looks like it did in my 20's and I'm able to wear so many different styles now.
I am so happy I chose Dr Kasden as my surgeon. Every post-op visit has been painless. I was very worried about having the drains removed but I didn't even feel it. I highly recommend him to myfamily , friends ,and clients.

Results look great! Do you have a current picture you’d be willing to post? I am similar to your before size and picture and am searching for lifts without implants that I like.
