About three and a half weeks ago, I was prescribed tretinoin .025% cream (once a day) clindamycin phosphate 1% (once a day) and also told to use PanOxyl 4% wash. I have not seen significant improvements and am worried. I was wondering how often to use PanOxyl--should I use it in the morning and at night? And should I use the Clindamycin with tretinoin or not? If so, which should go first?
I have been using tretoinon .5% for 18 months every night with no difference. 60 years old. First week a little redness apart from that nothing else. What other type of cream else can I try? AHA ???
Hello, I've been using Retin A for 16 weeks now and have not seen any resutls. As a matter of fact, my skin has gotten worse and more oily. I went to see my dermo becasue I was having a mild breakout on my chin. He perscribed me Retin A, told me to wash my face with salicytic acid morning and night and to spot treat with Benzoyl peroxide 5%. Now I have acne on my jawline, below my nose and my chin has gotten significantly worse. Should I stop using it? If so what will happen?
I've been using retain-a micro 0.08% for close to 3 months, gradually working towards using it 3-5 days a week. I haven't seen very much improvement and I'm wondering if I should get a higher dosage? Any suggestions?
Hi i have been on retin a for two months. but have not seen improvement on my skin. but not seen any terrible side effects people experience. does this show retin a will not give me good skin and have any anti-aging purpose? is it ok to use aha or bha while on retin a?
My forehead is very waxy and has small colorless bumps and red irritated acne. I tried over the counter acne products, Prescription acne products ( Ziana and Retinol A), and wash my face morning and night. Im currently using Retinol A, it has been a little over two months. It seems like it doesnt want to go away. Should I see a different dermatologist? Does anyone have a suggestion on acne products that work great?
