Should I stop using Retin-A?

I am a 57 year old woman and have been using Retin-A for 4 months and I don't see any improvement in my wrinkles.And my skin is so dry!I also am on thyroid medication that can cause dry skin.The cheek wrinkles bother me the most.

A common side effect of Retin-A gels is dryness, peeling, irritation, and redness, and in my experience, decreasing the frequency to every other night may help minimize side effects. Results with Retin-A and wrinkles takes at least a year to achieve, but mainly helps with fine lines and not as effective for deep wrinkles.
