I have been using tretinoin 0.05% for 8 wks starting slow building to everyday use now. Still getting some whiteheads on forehead but my rest of the face is clear now. I want to continue tretinoin but have noticed that my face has got dull/dark than my body atleast by two shades. I have been using a chemical sunscreen with SPF30 everyday and usually stay indoors. I have no clue why my face is getting darker. Can I use glycolicacid+ acid cream or vitaminC in the morning to help evenout tone?
I am of Indian descent. I have scars on my arms and legs. They are not raised. Just discoloured. I can get a prescription from my dr for 7% (or even 14%) hydroquinone and Retin A. Will this help? Or is it best to use the hydroquinone with galaxal base on its own? Which will help the scars fade faster!? I am desperate. Summer is coming.
I am of Indian decent. The pigmentation above my lip only appeared when I was around 11 years. I've tried many creams to no avail. I recently had skin peels to help with the pigmentation/acne scarring, this has helped improve the appearance slightly, but it is still noticeable. Would 0.01% suffice? Or should I go for a higher percentage? Are there any alternatives? Many thanks.
I have Indian skin and have some brown spots on my cheeks. I have tried Mela D with kojic acid for a month and Retin A for 4 months. I put Retin A at night time and Mela D during day time. But since I didnt see any difference so I wanna give my last try to Hydroquinone (4%). But before I do that, I would like to know, if it is safe to use both- I mean Retin A during night and Ultraquin during day time. How long will it take to get any results? Please suggest other procedures too. Thanks!
