I have acne on my cheeks and chin. I have been using Tretinoin .1% Cream with Cetaphil foaming cleanser and Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion. Theyre the only products that dont make my face burn while using the tretinoin. I have been using all 3 of these for about 5-6 months. The acne has not gotten better and my skin continues to peel.
I am 40 year guy, I just started with twice a week retin A(0.05%, buffered with Cetaphil moisturizer). The main problem is that I get sebaceous Filaments in chin area, which fade away after 4-5 days if I not reapply retin A. Is there any recommendations to avoid sebaceous Filaments?
I have been using retinaA 0,05% for a month and a half now, aswell cetaphil acne prone sunscreen spf 30 and cetaphil face wash for a month now but my skin is dry peeling and painful when I touch it Ocasionally I put on morning pee and salt scrub and bicarbonate of soda
I never had a problem with my skin until about 1 year ago. I was having some hormonal issues and my face became covered in closed comedones (no inflammatory acne). The Dr prescribed Aczone in the morning and Tretinoin at night about 6 mos ago. My face has cleared up significantly, but he didn't give me any guidance on how to use it. I have been using it along with a 2% Salicylic Acid and Cetaphil Acne Wash. Would only using Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, the medications and Cera Ve moisturizer be ok?
