I am finishing up day 6 of the vi peel. All of my face had peeled except for the upper cheek area. I jut showered, and the remaining dead skin rolled off as I was washing my face in cool water with my hands only. When I looked in the mirror, I noticed the red spots, clearly delineated where the dead skin was. Will this result in a scar? I applied the post-peel protectant to my entire face after the shower.
I had a VI peel 3 days ago. The practitioner did not give me the home treatment kit and about t30 mins after treatment my skin was BURNING. I have red spots on my cheeks, very limited peeling and more pronounced brown spots on my cheeks. Is this normal?
I'm on day 4 of the vi peel and my skin looks horrible. I'm afraid it's my fault...b/c I helped peel sheets off most of my face yesterday morning (day 3). Will the red spots subside or will they be permanent b/c of my not following directions?
Saturday, after cleaning the house and perspiring I have many raised, red bumps on my neck, forehead and now my face. They hurt, burn and itch. Some are hard and turning a darker red. Any suggestions?
I received a ViPeel on Friday, it is now Tuesday. I did the normal peeling, now I am swollen, beet red, having splotchiness, and am peeling again. My face hurts, and it is hard to even open my mouth because of the dry skin, pain. Is this normal? I have called my plastic surgeons office, and they said it could be normal. On my own, I have started antibiotics and valtrex. The girl that gave me the peel said I had "excellent" frosting, and would get a great result. Is this normal?
