Hello RealSelf Community, I've just had TCA CROSS with 70% TCA and am considering a VBeam treatment. Due to a vacation planned in 7 weeks, I'm thinking of scheduling the VBeam 2 weeks after the TCA CROSS. Is this gap safe and advisable for skin recovery and optimal results? Looking forward to your insights! Thank you!
I had Vbeam laser surgery on my cheeks on both sides of my face on Monday and today if Friday. They told me it would only last a few days. It looked awful the first few days and not much better now. I think the doctor used a high setting (heard him tell the technician to set it up to ?? before starting. I don't want to go out of my house looking like this. How long before this goes away and I can feel normal looking again?
I am receiving VBeam treatments for my post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. My doctor has spaced them 2 weeks apart. I have heard most people space them 3-4 weeks apart. If I space them further apart will I get better results? What is the benefit to spacing them close together?
I am 35 year old male & have slight rosacea on my nose , upper cheeks along & some occular rosacea. I've been on antibiotics for 4 months (tetralysal and doxycyclin). Both of which make skin more photosensitive. I've just finished the course & the 1 postule that I ever had is calmed down significantly (after 9 months). I am considering - IPL/V-Beam treatment to minimize rosacea, Question: how long do I need to wait before I can get these treatments? Skin type: between III and IV (more 4)
About 3 months ago I had surgical complications from a tummy tuck which left me with a lot of scarring. A dermatologist recently started me on Vbeam, but wants to do it every two weeks. Is that too aggressive? Is it safe to do so often? My scars look even darker. After a few vbeam treatments, we then will move to the Halo laser for resurfacing. Would love to get thoughts on this approach.
Hi, after my second child I have stretchmark's on my stomach. As I'm from a country town, where there's no laser clinics, I'm planning to head interstate. Is it possible to do Vbeam and then Fraxel laser a couple of days later, to get the most out of my time away??
I'm getting vbeam laser done in a few weeks for my diffused red cheeks. I asked my doctor if I flush a lot when I workout if that will cause my redness to come back faster. He said that the more I flush after surgery, the more likely it'll come back. Now I'm worried I won't be able to workout! On average, how soon does the redness come back?
I had my first Vbeam treatment today. I have checked the internet and get different answeres to my question. Some say it's Ok to drink a day or 2 afterwards and some sites say wait to weeks. What it the correct amount of time to wait and if I do drink afterwards will it dimish the effects of my treatment?
