Im a 40 yr old female had extended tummy tuck with lipo to flanks and back. My stomach protrudes farther now and has a crease down the front. Also when I plank my stomach hangs like udders and I have a large roll when sititng
I had a FDL in Sep 21 which included muscle repair. Months I noticed a little dip in my incision line. Then it turned red all around, then there was a hole about the size of a tip of a pen that consistently drained . I ended up seeing a wound care specialist &eventually a suture came out. I unfortunately feel i have another one coming out & will require a revision. Is there a reason my body is pushing these out & should i refrain from future procedures?
What procedure(s) do I need and which can be done in some combo over a couple of rounds? Should I do an extended tummy tuck and braline back lift together or a fdl and maybe arm lift together? Which type of tummy tuck will yield me good results? I had a tummy tuck years ago but was still left with skin and then I had another child. Want to get it right this time in as few surgeries as possible.
Had FDL - things were going VERY well until about 5-6 WPO - I developed a considerable seroma. Initial FDL was drainless - seroma was draining well on its own; it was decided to leave it and NOT place a drain. Now, Im VERY discouraged/frustrated. Swelling and issues with seroma has left me with what I feel is an abd deformity. You can see how tight and nice things were at 3-DPO and 3-WPO but now at 9-WPO its AWFUL! I already had major deformity from past laparotomy. Will this require revision?
So about 4 years ago I had a Fleur De Lis tummy tuck and my Dr did some lipo in my stomach. I am here because more recently I am noticing a bit of a bulge in my upper left abdominal section of my stomach. A new Dr told me via video consult that I could need a whole new tummy tuck. I really do not want to do another tummy tuck when it seems like this one problem area is like a small pocket of fat. My question is, wouldn't liposuction to the area be enough? thank you in advance !
Hi, I had a tummy tuck surgery in November 2020 and it is fine when I sit but when I stand and bend it is very bad. I need a surgeons opinion if it should be a reverse abdominalplasty or it should be tummy tuck or a fleur de lis. I lost weight 1 stone (new medication for migraine) between the tummy tuck and now and the surgeon never did muscle repair apparently my muscles looked ok even though I lost 77kg so now Im left with the stomach skin. Please could you tell me what you would all suggest?
I underwent 2 tummy tucks, extended abdominoplasty October 2019 and revision to Fleur de Lis feb 20. Still seem to have a lot of skin. Can FDL be revised? I am not happy and really don't think I have the best results from 2 surgeries
I had a tummy tuck done in June and needs to be completely redone and extended but I am also wondering if instead I should get an FDL tummy tuck my current surgeon I'm looking at said that would make an ugly scar and he won't do it but I want to have the results so I'm wondering if it's worth it to get more opinions or if you thought if they redid and pulled tighter an extended should work? I don't like that vertical scar but I don't like the skin more!
