Ive had the nose thread lift performed twice now. The second time, one of the threads started extruding 3 months after the procedure. Im really scared of filler so I was wondering if it would be safe to have threads done yearsly for the rest of my life ?
I had done surgical open rhinoplasty around 5 years ago. I had bridge implant , while my nose tip is from my earlobe bone (sorry i forgot the terms) , however i find my nose bridge is not well define and nose tip even more bulbous than my original nose and droppier. The only thing achieved from my rhinoplasty was higher bridge which was also not so satisfactory as it looks not well define . Thus I'm planning to do nose thread lift to uplift and narrow my tip and define my bridge . Is it possible?
Update from last post - one of the threads now made a new way out of my nose on the Columella. The place I went to wants me to come in and they're going to pull it out ..... I'm terrified on what to do and defiantly not going back to them for anything. Another place said they can dissolve these with heat therapy. Should I do that? Or should I go to a surgeon and have an ultrasound to look for an infection pocket?
I had PDO threads put in about 3 months ago. The pain has never stopped since I got them in. One of the threads poked out a few weeks ago & had it cut. Also an infection in the hole where threads were inserted (treated w/ antibiotics) Now, I believe one of the threads is coming out of my Columella.. literally. its intense pain to touch & you can see it almost out of the skin. I think they put in my PDOs wrong and wont admit it. What can I do to treat this/get them out without surgery?
I got a Hiko nose thread lift in Feb 2020 and the threads haven't fully dissolved. Maybe 50%? I can feel and see it move when I push the tip of my nose up, and I still have a little dimple at the top of my nose when I make a certain face. My 2 friends and I went to the same doctor for the same procedure and theirs are completely dissolved now. I'm baffled. Can't find any answer for this online!
While I'm considering getting a nose thread lift with dissolving barbed threads to raise the tip of my nose, I'm concerned about the safety of the procedure. I know the threads stimulate collagen production, but do they also create scar tissue / nerve damage? Can a biofilm form over the threads? And if there is a problem, how reversible is it (can the threads be removed before they are absorbed by the body)?
I have been contemplating on possibly getting a thread lift for my nose because I feel the tip sticks out and is slightly droopy and its big. Would a thread lift help with that? Or just rhinoplasty? My nose just is way out of proportion with the rest of my face. I was also considering filler in my chin and jaw to maybe help with how small that part of my face is in comparison. Any advice as to how I can achieve more proportion in my face? Thank you!
I have been left with a deep indentation on my nose and the scar is healing with an uneven texture. I'm upset and very depressed about the situation. Please can you advise me on what I can do because the practitioner doesn't have a clue.
