38 y/o female struggling after weight loss. I feel my jowls and neck are so saggy I can hardly look in the mirror. I've tried filler in my cheeks and jaw and liked it but it was too expensive for something that only lasted 9 months. I'm looking for something more long term. I thought about PDO threads but feel hesitant.
I have always had some asymmetry to my face. Recently I got silohuette insta-lift threads (10 threads) in my cheeks, jaw, and neck. I also put a little filler in my nose and chin. What else would help me address my asymmetrical features?
Hi . Im going in to have my breast implants made smaller in 2 weeks. Im also planning on doing a facial PDO thread lift of my checks/jaw by a different provider. Im trying to make an appointment to do them but its only 10 days post my augmentation. Is it safe to the facial PDO lift them ? I dont want to do anything could increase my chance of CC as some doctors even caution against dental procedures before 6 months and recommend antibiotics even for those procedures. TIA
I am 39 and starting to see loss of elasticity in my neck and jaw. My sister is a PA that will be attending a training to learn how to do PDO threads. I have been looking into my options to help my skin, including the threads and laser treatments. I would love to do it but I am afraid of the setting being a training and my sisters obvious inexperience. Everything I have read says to go to an experienced provider. Is it more or less likely to experience problems as a patient in a training
Im 28 & have had mild sagging in my face since I can remember. I've had 2 rounds of Ultherapy with virtually no results. I have have fillers in the front and side of my cheeks, nasolabial folds, chin, & jaw line. I think Ive maxed out on the results filler will give me but surgery seems too extreme. When I looked into threads I was told they will really only support what I currently have and if there is an actual lifting effect, it will be temporary. Thank you in advance for your advice!
For years I have always been insecure about how wide/masculine my jaw seems to be, and recently I have finally gotten dysport injections into my masseters in order to reduce the volume. This, however, hasnt given me the results Ive been looking for. But when I lift the skin around my jaw, I absolutely love how it looks. Is it a good idea to get some PDO threads around the area? Or is there another, better alternative for me? Thanks!
How risky are PDO threads, in terms of nerve damage? I know there are some very important nerves running around the mouth. I plan on choosing a qualified person to put them in around the jaw and marionette lines, but I still wondered the potential risk of nerve damage. Thank you
I got one barbed PDO thread on each side of my jawline, and a few on my upper cheeks. I am 8 days post treatment and I am still experiencing a lot of swelling along my left jawline. I have contacted my physician and she said that it will go away soon. Is this normal?? Im getting a bit worried.
HI doctors. I am in my mid 30's and a few years ago i under went a slight cheekbone and jaw reduction. I am experiencing some skin laxity after the reduction. I was wondering if non invasive threadlifts (facelift) will absorb inside the face over time? or do the threads stay inside the face?
Hello, I recently went to see my aesthetician for a top up of Juvederm Voluma in my cheeks and he mentioned that if I really wanted my cheeks to pop it would be worth considering a PDO thread lift around my jaw (between 5-10 each side). However, Ive looked in to this and its generally recommended for sagging skin, Im 19 with no sagging and a relatively strong jawline as it is. Would this be a waste of money? If I were to get this procedure should I expect to see any results?
