Benefit of a PDO Thread Lift at 19 Years Old?

Hello, I recently went to see my aesthetician for a top up of Juvederm Voluma in my cheeks and he mentioned that if I really wanted my cheeks to ‘pop’ it would be worth considering a PDO thread lift around my jaw (between 5-10 each side). However, I’ve looked in to this and it’s generally recommended for sagging skin, I’m 19 with no sagging and a relatively strong jawline as it is. Would this be a waste of money? If I were to get this procedure should I expect to see any results?

At 19 years old, I would not recommend that you undergo a thread lift. Thread lift is primarily meant to address sagging skin, which you currently do not have. I would recommend sticking with dermal fillers at the moment. Best of luck!

A 19 year old should not undergo a thread lift or any operation unless there has been an accident, injury or other extenuating circumstance. The answer is no benefit without the above.

It hard to determine without seeing a photo or possibly having a face to face evaluation. PDO threadlift is a good option, however, if you are 19 with no sagging skin, I would recommend sticking to dermal fillers to achieve your goal.
