I had a PDO threadlift 12 days ago. The swelling and pain has subsided but I opened my mouth to eat this evening and I could swear I felt a snap in my chin (I had the lower face/jowels area treated in both sides and she anchored the thread in my chin) Is this possible? If so, I imagine the lift wouldnt noticible can I still get some potential collagen building from and some structure to thinner skin? I had 5 barbs on each side 3 on cheek and two under jaw line so perhaps it wont be Any difference?
Good Evening, I have been told that thread lifts actually boost your collagen. But of course, Im told this by individuals who make their living doing them. My concern is that as the effects wear off, my skin will appear saggy since it was stretched from the procedure thus necessitating constant upkeep/repeat treatments. Is this true? But for risk of asymmetry or puckering, any other risks I need to be aware of first?
I am 45 and my jawline is sagging a bit. I thought about a threadlift. But as it doesn't last very long: How often can you repeat it in life? And what happens to the skin and tissue when you repeat it a couple of times? I am concerned that the constant building of collagen could have in summary an uneven effect....
I get a stinging pain/sensation from them when l stroke my face to put moisturizer on etc. Or when l yawn/laugh. Will these lumps be covered as the collagen grows or will l just have to wait until they dissolve. I had bad swelling and bruising that lasted for 3 weeks. The procedure was extremely painful especially around my mastoid processes l thought she was drilling the needle into the bone.l had large painful swelling behind my ears lasted for over a week. my GP for strong pain killers.
Thread lift went wrong ?? I was told the right side of my face is slight bigger and flabby then my left . Right after the procedure I was shocked to see my face out of shape . Please advise me is this normal ? Because the pratictioner told me this is normal and will takes 2 weeks to 1 month for fully recovery and with my neck it will works slowly to get firm . I am very upset and confused and scare. Please advise me what should I do?
i heard RF treatment can help dissolving the thread of thread-lift. about how many treatment is needed for the thread to be completely dissolved? i had dissolvable thread lifting(barbed wire thread and small threads for make collagen) about 5months ago and i am thinking to take 6 RF trearments course. will it be enough to melt them away?
I am 54 years old and my jowls are sagging. I am thinking of getting a thread lift and I imagine the barbed type would be used. Will the barbed threads stimulate collagen production to the area? If I take collagen supplements will this help increase collagen production? If so, what type of collagen supplement is best, powder or pills?
