I am 45 and my jawline is sagging a bit. I thought about a threadlift. But as it doesn't last very long: How often can you repeat it in life? And what happens to the skin and tissue when you repeat it a couple of times? I am concerned that the constant building of collagen could have in summary an uneven effect....

I would recommend waiting 48-72 hours after swelling has gone down to ensure all of the swelling has gone away. I would still recommend speaking with your provider to find out what he/she would recommend.
First off if a thread does come loose you can loose a bit of the lift you had gained from its placement. Usually they come loose from the patient doing something they shouldn't have. Things like having dental work done, facial massages or eating a sub sandwich within the first 3-4 weeks...
Threads can be removed via RF or certain types of lasers. I would strongly suggest speaking with your provider first to see if their are any other options before removing the threads
