Hi. About two years ago I got a thigh lift done. My doctor didn't run the thigh lift down to my knee, he stopped mid thigh. I was left with my knees looking very disproportionate to the rest of legs because of that. Then I developed a seroma that needed to be surgically removed and he did a scar revision. I came out with a prominent indent in my right leg that I am so horrified to look at. It looks like dead space. I don't know how I can fix this please help. What are my options?
Hello. I had a thigh lift almost 7 months ago and I have had drains put in twice and they fill up past 25 every 5 hours. Only on one leg. I understand its a seroma. Im tired of having bulb drain hanging from me and getting caught on things and hiding under clothes which is hard to do. What are the solutions other than manual aspiration which didnt work either? Its isnt capsulized. I hope someone has a solution bc I cant live with this much longer. :-(
I had a seroma incised after a thigh lift, it was the size of a golf ball on my outer knee. I packed it for 11 days then ran out of packing so I put a bandaid on it and it started to closed almost immediately. . I am wondering if it will get infected later because I didn't pack keep packing it. It closed so fast I am hoping no infection occurs in the future. What do you think Doctor. Tina
I went for another check up yesterday still dealing with a lot of fluid draining yesterday in a space that opened in the incision where drainage was coming out they put a wic in it to keep it open continue to drain. This morning changing the wic I got a good bit of blood that came out. They also started me on another antibiotic (keflex) as we see some goo on the bandages, last night when pressing bump of fluid out (Id guess 80-11cc) even some of this puss stuff came out the wic hole.
Will I be able to wear a bikini in aprox 2 months , and not have this horrible bumpy scar... I dont mind the redness or darkness of the scar, but i just want it flat. Im a week post op. Do i still have chances of infection at this point? Also my skin is stiff and really hard in that area. Rock hard. Is it a seroma or fluid? Help!

5 weeks post op had a 5cm cyst/seroma drained of 60cc of fluid. 4 days later it returned. Should I return to PS or make a trip to the ER? I'm now 6 weeks post op from thighplasty with TT. Also been wearing a full bodycompression garment since week 2 and have constant swelling in lower right leg and feet. Is this normal?
