I used a very expensive skin lightening cream that only worked on the less course skin. I would like to try a chemical peel on my own Ive been researching and watching videos of professionals. I noticed that chemical peels for hyperpigmentation is usually done on the face. My case is really rare and Im currently not financially stable to go to a dermatologist.
I have a clear caramel skin and my whole life.. i apply just vaseline on my whole body. I have no skincare products.. but growing up, my inner thighs, neck, under arms, knees, knuckles, vaginal region and elbows are currently about 4times darker than my complexion and its really disgusting and embarrassing... people think i was bleaching and it went wrong.. but i have never bleached. So recently I bought 50% TA to apply to those areas.. would it work?
I had done 25% TCA peel 1.5 year back on my inner thighs and joint behind knee. After that my skin become darkener after few months I applied combination of 2% hydroquinone two times a day and kojic acid, alpha arbutin and steroid four times a day for around 2 months but my skin become red, swollen and dark so I stopped using it, I thought i may develop Ochronosis. After 1.5 year my skin is still dark. Please help what should i do?
Obviously I didn't do enough research before doing this.. I had very dark knees which hydroquinon wouldn't remove.. It's been 6days and my knee looks worst.. I'm pretty depressed at this point... I started fidgeting with it.. it doesn't hurt..but I'm really in a horrible place right now
So normally, Im used to doing 30% of TCA. At home like in general, my feet or my arms, but The last time I had it done was two years ago I did the peel follow all steps kept it on for 5 mins & it stinged and burned but after 18hrs it is all normal no pain or stinging but now it looks like a bruise It is of blackish-brownish- purplish red color and im scared will it peel is it normal.. will attach pic below too plz help me out
