I'm hoping to get info about this for skin pigmentation/overall condition improvement in young, Caucasian skin. Both drugs are known for irritation. Would mixing them together make it worse? Some preparations add corticosteroid, but I've got visible veins & I'm reluctant to trust tretinoin to mitigate the skin atrophy potential. Also, should I mix them, or use one product a night, switching each night? Tretinoin contributes penetration enhancement, but I'm unsure of the irritant impact of that.
Hi, my skin had got tanned. So I started using hydroquinone 2 % + tretionoin + mometasone furoate cream on my feet. But unfortunately, I have developed white patches on my feet. I have discontinued the cream. Also, It has very mild burning and itching. Is it temporary and how much time it takes for it to resolve?
I am 20year old girl . I've used this tretinoin hydroquinone cream for a couple of days for my underarms and I had redness and dryness for which I discontinued . But unfortunately, in just one day there was increased brown pigmentation(more than before).
I have olive complexion. My doctor presribed a custom formula for skin lightening containing Hydroquinone 8%, tretinoin .1%, hydrocortisone .5%, and clindamycin 1%. I read on the internet about skin darkening (ochronosis) with hydroquinone use. I would like to try using the presription but am worried about this side effect. How likely is it to happen? Are there steps to prevent this from happening like using it intermittently once I have acheived a good skin tone? Taking breaks, etc? Thank you!
