Due to weight loss and excessive sun exposure in the past. My upper eyelids are pigmented and thin. I want to make it brighter, is there any type of serum like retinol or procedure to remove this pigmentation around my eyes?
My face has gotten a few shades darker than my chest and hands probably due to sun exposure and I want to figure out how to reverse it. (The first photo is of my natural complexion and the next 2 are what my face look like now). Possibly through peels, facial treatments maybe even creams. Please list all suggestions below!
Hydroquinone decreases the amount of melanin in skin and creates photosensitivity. Thus if exposed to sunlight, it leads to inflammation and stimulates melanin production, which can make hyperpigmentation worse. However, I was suggested to use it as pre-treatment for Fraxel dual 1550. Doesn't laser have the same affect as sunlight? How come exposing to laser after hydroquinone will not cause inflammation, stimulate melanin production, make hyperpigmentation worse? What makes the difference?
i have dark spots on my knees from playing sports and in other area on my body mostly from sun exposure, if I use 2% hydroquinone will it help? And if I get the results I want and I stop using it will the skin get back to what it was like or darker?
I lived in an area with a UV index above 8 all year round for about 15 years. My exposed face and and hands have darkened. My body color and color of unexposed areas are really pale. Exposed area has become brown. Can this be reversed by any ,literally, any procedure?
Parts exposed to sun(face and arms) are quite darker and unexposed parts like chest, upper arm, legs are quite light. What should I do to make colour of exposed parts lighter like the unexposed and further protect it from damage. I need a ligter skin tone on fave and arms as well. Which face creams, fave packs or other remedies should I follow to get an even skin tone and keep it protected as it is.
