I had septoplasy surgery yesterday morning to correct a deviated septum. Today I noticed I could not lift my upper lip to smile but it is not swollen. I also noticed my two front teeth are very sore and hurt almost as much as my nose. I'm sure this is common but when I research it online I can not find anything related to it. Is this normal since surgery was only 30 hours ago or should I mention it when I attend my post surgery appointment to remove the stints?
Teeth punctured through bottom lip, front teeth dangled, lip busted open. It is unclear if my maxilla bone was cracked in the process. I am seeking a nose surgery and options for my lip. Lip has many bulbs of scar tissue inside. It is uneven.
Is it better to wait until after the surgery? Or does it not matter? I'm getting a cat scan on my nose today. Does filler show up on a cat scan? I just don't want things to be different for when the dr sees the cat scan and if things would be different if I had filler after that. I don't want him going in and getting any surprises. Am I worrying for nothing? Also, if I get Botox before the surgery is there a timeline I should be considering?
The first couple of pictures are of me. My issues; starting w/my nose I hate the bridge & how wide it is throughout. I have a deviated septum which makes it very difficult to breath at times I feel as though I'm suffocating. The last couple of pictures are of the nose I wish I had, what do I need to be done along with septoplasty to achieve this? Then my mouth/chin area. I don't know what to do other than juvederm in my upper lip/nasolabial folds (& under eye area). Lastly, how to fix my acne scarring?
so im 13 and i have a deviated septum, my moms nose doctor told her that i couldnt have surgery due to my age and because i have no breathing problems, he also said that it could fix itself over time. is this true because i have the most assymetrical features ever due to this problem, assymetrical lips, eyes, nose even face shape. Questions: what can i do about the assymetry (it really bugs me)? is what the doctor said true, and why cant i perform a surgery if its not getting fixed by itself?!
