8 months ago I developed a huge cystic pimple on my nose and since I have a red raised acne scar on my nose. My derm prescribed tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide - they reduced the overall amount of acne on my face, but did not help the scar. Next he prescribed a steroid cream (fluticasone) for the scar, however it hasn't helped either. My derm doesn't specialize in cosmetics so he suggested looking elsewhere now. How can I get this fixed? Laser? Microneedle? Fraxel? 26 male
Over the years Iv had spots and have squeezed them and never had any issues. I used tretinoin and squeezed these 2 on my cheek and they have not faded, its been almost 2 years. Iv had several laser sessions and its done nothing. The doctor said these were vascular but then I went to another doctor and she said they werent vascular and this is why laser hasnt worked. She suggested plasma pen, I just want a solution to get rid of or at least fade these marks
My eyes are uneven, my right upper eyelid was droopy so I decided to apply some tretinoin cream and vitamin c on it to tighten it as I read and after two days I found a scar or extra crease on it, how did this happen and how can I correct this issue?
Hello, I am looking to improve these scars on my cheek, they're about a year old at the most. They're mostly only visible under indirect/angled lighting. I've done a couple of treatments with 0.5mm dermaroller and one with a 1mm dermastamp since February-March, but I don't think there's any visible improvement. (The photo is from April) I'm also trying Tretinoin 0.05% and I think one boxcar scar on my other cheek has improved slightly. I'm going to try SECRET RF this week, as well. Thank you.
I'm a biracial women with brown PIH scars on my face, neck and breasts (around the nipples) from acne, ingrown hairs and compulsive skin picking. I've been using Tretinoin (0.05% strength), as prescribed by my dermatologists for three months. My acne has improved, but the PIH scars remain the same. I want a second opinion. I need a more effective treatment for the PIH/discolorations, that has minimal risks and yields faster results. What are my options?

I got this scar from using Erase an oil here in thr Philippines said to remove scars. 2014 i had a small burn about two inches. So i started using erase it contain tretinoin. But it got so worse than ever. It kunda burnt my leg the solution spread and caused me to have this scar. Now i never wear dresses or shorts even if it's really hot in my country. Also i have very light skin the scar is like two shades darker than my skin. I tried dermatix. hydrocortisone it didn't work. What should i do?
I recently had a dermatologist prescribe Tretinoin 0.1 Retinoid Cream to me in an experimental effort to see whether it might help to improve the skin textural differences, and provide some slight improvements, for a notched and indented scar that is located at my upper nostril rim. The scarring itself is of the indented type but does not appear to be all that deep. Could the regular use of a collagen building retinoid, over time, truly provide any conservative improvements in this situation?
