My name is Fyu, 21 yrs of age, my height is 4'9 and weighs 44 kgs. I am an animal rescuer for years now, and I caught scabies months ago. I underwent chemical peel procedure, suggested by my dermatologist, however, my dark spots faded only a little. I order an 80% Salycilic peel online and tried it myself, now it has gotten worse. I don't know what to do anymore.
I went to a medicial shop and they recommended Collomack to apply on a growth spot on my face. i applied two times and now there is a black spot on my face. it contains active ingredient: salicylic acid 0.1gram, other ingredient acetic acid 99%, docusate sodium, castor oil, pyroxylin, ethanol 96%, acetone, isobutyl acetate
ive had many of these peels before but not as frequently as I did this time. I did this peel only a week after my last one. The skin turned white immediately and this is what it looks like 24 hours after. I've been applying aquaphor and hemp seed oil & staying out of sunlight. Are there any more recommendations? Will it scar or just peel off like normal? I've never had it this dark before after a peel
I started using salicylic acid peel 20% two months ago and this was the result. I ruined my skin, I was out in the sun a lot with little sun protection and I can't stop picking at my skin, most of the blemishes are hyperpigmentation, flat dark spots and tons of discoloration and shallow scarring. I went to a dermatologist two days ago and prescribed me doxycyline, retin a, and 5% benzoyl peroxide the alternative was accutane. I am 24 years of age btw. Any chance of improving my skin?
Hi. I recently started using 20% salicylic acid peel because of acne, oily skin and ingrown hairs. My acne is moderate but the ingrown hairs at the side of my chin and neck has left me with really dark marks. I had my first chemical peel a week ago and I will have the next one next week. Meanwhile, after the first 4 days of my peel ( I had no redness, dryness or peeling), I started using 4% hydroquinone cream on those dark marks. Is this method safe, or should I stick to one treatment at a time?
Used an at-home salycilic acid 30% as guided by the instructions and left on for two minutes. This is what my skin looks like a couple of hours after. Is this a normal effect or is it a sign of hyperpigmentation? This is a picture of the left and right cheeks.
Yes, I am extremely embarrassed I ever thought this would be a good idea! I did this yesterday, left it for a couple of hours, scraped it off and saw the spots. There is no pain or burning sensation, just those unsightly dark spots right where I applied the salicylic acid. I applied lanolin to calm the skin and I'm leaving it alone. I know it'll take time to get rid of these spots, but how long? Anything else I should do? I am too embarrassed to consult a doctor personally.
