I have 13 yr old pitted chickenpox scar in middle of my forehead, I want to do Restylane or Juvederm filler asap but scared of an occlusion because of the area I need it in. Is filler just in one circular spot in the middle of forehead at high risk to cause occlusion or is it more so when large areas are done with filler? forehead skin isn't too tight. Injector is NP-PHC, MPH, BSCN certified & has multiple filler clinics, is that enough to tackle a deep scar like this and with those fillers?
Yes, I am one of those.... I am paranoid of the risks and I want to know when I'm in the clear for this risk. It's been about 36 hours since I was injected and I want to stop being paranoid. So when does it normally show up if a blood vessel was injected.
There was never any blanching or pain. Because there was no blanching, I believe that a vein was blocked; not an artery. I figured it was just a bruise. Six hours later, I looked in the mirror and noticed mottling on my cheek, and I freaked out. Sites say that Massage and warm compresses are beneficial, so I've been doing those things for a few hours. I feel like had I not done those things, I would not have any redness. Can anything other than an occlusion cause mottling?
