I had 4 vials of Sculptra. First a treatment of 2, then 6 weeks later 2 vials more. It has now been 3 weeks since my last treatment of Sculptra and wondered if I should wait on receiving radiesse in my upper cheeks. I'm afraid the Sculptra will take effect after receiving the radiesse and then I will be too puffy. I'm seeing suttle results from the Sculptra so far. Please advise!
I recently had radiesse biostimulator injected in my cheeks, temples and jawline. Im a little worried because I did it impulsively to treat asymmetry but I dont want to look alien-like or boxy. I know it takes some time to see full results. Is radiesse a good filler for young adults? Im a 25 year old female. The doctor convinced me its better than HA fillers and will help me build up my natural collagen. Id love to hear your thoughts. Photo is from after
Hi, I just got lanluma done in my face especially in my cheek area and the lower face). My jawline did not get injected directly. I have an appointment 8 days apart from that treatment with another doctor to do Radiesse along the jawline. I want to know if there are any risks in that combination or if its possible to combine both products especially when we did not inject the jawline with lanluma. My fear is there could be contraindications when both products interact.
Hello, I had Radiesse dilute done on my neck in Germany beginning of August, followed by a dentist appointment a week or so later. By September Nodules appeared at the injection sites. More noticeable however, my cheeks doubled in size with hard masses of clumped nodules. At firstI thought it was my cheekbone because of its hardness, yet it also resembled edema. 2 days later 6 distinct nodules on my chin developed. Prednisone, saline solutions helped temp. Now doxycycline & clarithromycin.
As part of an acne scar treatment I was pushed into subcision with Radiesse (1:1, 1ml total for both cheeks) on the spot instead with basically no information about the treatments. Its been over a year (april 2023) and the volume is still here very noticeably. I never wanted to change my face, just improve the scars. Im losing hope the visual changes (chubby cheeks) will ever go back to before (the 18 months are a lie). One derm told me the new collagen is permanent. Have you seen it go away?
Hi! So I got Radiesse done 3 months ago. And the Doctor told me I would see the peak results in 2 months. I dont notice a difference, and its upsetting because Radiesse is so expensive. Should I keep waiting? When will I see results? I dont know what other treatment to get thats not HA filler that will help lift and tighten my cheeks. The before photo im in blue, the after im at the store for context, looks the same to me.
I got Radiesse injected (1/2 a syringe) in my cheeks in October 2015. I had had Radiesse injected several times before over the past few years and loved the results. This injector put the Radiesse in the wrong place, on the apples of my cheeks. It looks terrible. I finally consulted a plastic surgeon in December 2015. He told me the Radiesse would *probably* dissolve within a year, but he said the effects are sometimes permanent and the Radiesse never dissolves in some patients. Is this true?
I had a consultation today with a doctor that told me I would need at least 6mls of radiesse for both cheeks and my chin. I don't have any major wrinkles or anything, but I want some volume in my nasolabial fold area, cheekbones, and volume for a more prominent chin. I was thinking 6mls is a lot for a 23 year old (I have decent fat in my face)? For 6 mls, he was charging around 3,000 CAD. In this case, is 1 ml adequate to 1 syringe?
As part of an acne scar treatment (subcision) I had Radiesse (1:1 diluted, 1ml for both cheeks) injected in the subcutaneous. Ever since my chin and jaw have doubled in size (look many and aged) and are just undefined. It almost seems like filler is under my jaw/chin looking like a puffy double chin. It either has to be something with the filler or the cannula subcision (sagging, ligament damage). Did not gain weight. Is it realistic that this might be a temporary problem only? Thanks!
