Hello, I have a question. I have suffered from severe acne and took Accutane twice for over 2 years until I was 20. Now, at 31, my skin still has post-inflammatory erythema (PIE) and is always red, which bothers me the most. When I laugh, my entire face turns red like a tomato. Ive tried many skincare routines recommended by doctors, along with microneedling and two sessions of fractional laser. What laser treatment (such as Vbeam) would you recommend, and what skincare routine should I follow?
During the procedure I was told that my skin wasn't responding as expected.. No reaction until the highest setting. There still isn't bruising, but there is redness and a lot of swelling. Is this normal? Did I make my scars worse permanently? When can I expect results?
I want to do a pulsed lye laser to treat redness after 3 weeks later of mechanical dermoabrasion, what other treatments can I do to obtein improvent?, which laser is better or best do microneedling with or not RF, thanks.
I have keratosis pilaris on both cheeks with much redness, I want to have a procedure to get rid of the redness, and have come to believe pulsed dye laser is best for this? However Ive seen that it leaves red bruises on your face for a while after the treatment? If so how long do these last and are they easy to cover up with foundation? Also on average how much does this cost?
I am looking to correct diffuse redness (not rosacea) and some small broken red capillaries in my mid cheeks, I do not have pigment or dark spots. The centers that offered both treatments recommended either PDL or PDL/KTP combo. The center that didnt offer PDL told me PDL is outdated technology and BBL is the way to go for better skin and redness reduction, and they kind of put down PDL a lot saying it was old technology and not as good. Advice please!!! Thank you!!!
I'm looking to treat my redness caused by rosacea however I also have melasma which I don't want to trigger. My melasma is maintained well and not a bother so not looking to treat it but rather avoid triggering it while attempting to fix my redness. I've heard IPL and heat based lasers for redness could be a trigger. Thank you
I have persistent redness in my cheeks and nose. I've tried 3 IPL sessions at a local business, with no results other than a patchy beard. I'm frustrated and I need options! I work as a Reserve Firefighter, so downtime is a concern. Do I have any more options? I've tried Topicals, Orals, everything! The redness is still at large. Thanks for your help!
