Hello, I had a PRP injection to my face yesterday, only using the plasma, not any filler. I thought since the plasma is thin and your own blood there is no risk of going blind from it.. I feel irritation in my eye and some swelling under the eye area, and I am now paranoid I will go blind. My vision was fine after the procedure. Is it still possible to have vision loss because of a PRP under eye injection?
I had my first ever tribella treatment yesterday followed the first time getting an undereye prp+filler treatment. The swelling was immediate and I looked very swollen at the doctors office. RPA administered under eye filler + prp. Doctor came to check in after. Both said swelling was normal. I am still concerned that eye may have been overfilled. Tried benAdryl and ice which has helped some, but still puffier than even pictures can capture. Please tell me if this looks normal to you. Thanks.
I am bone on bone and trying to put off knee replacements. Had PRP (first time), at same time as the corizone and synvest shots which had before with no problems. Both knees swelled up like balloons two weeks later---now about to start my 4th week and the swelling gets worse even with Mobic and icing. Hope to see the doctor again but not sure what they can do or why reaction so bad. He mention maybe too much at one time.
I got PRP injections to my under eye hollows and nasolabial folds 48 hours ago & I'm still as swollen as I was on day 1. I started icing my face the morning of day 2 (approx 14 hours after procedure) and stayed upright as much as possible. Night 2, I slept at a 45 degree angle. Day 3, having woken up to a swollen face, I took ibuprofen to no avail. It's been 6 hours since, & I'm still very swollen. HELP. Is there anything, ANYTHING else I can do to expedite this process. Bandage my face?
