Have had three PRP sessions. Am taking Nutrafol, using shampoo with DHT blocker. Itching is moderate, no flaking, scalp is oily not dry. Would like to add laser Helmet, but want to solve itch before adding more treatment. Dermatologist providing PRP and Rx has no suggestions so far. Thanks!
hello. I have thinning hair. I've had my first PRP treatment 10 days ago. Now I have a couple of bumps on my scalp in the treated area. the scalp isn't red but the scalp is itching (perhaps because of the bumps?!). My forehead also swelled a bit. I contacted my doctor and he said it shouldn't happen but if I itch I should use baby oil. Is it normal what I'm experiencing? What do you suggest? Sincerely and thank you very much Inbal
I'm 40 years old.I was diagnosed with early stage of male pattern baldness.I've received 3 sessions of prp injection.Since 20 days after the second session,l've experienced prickling, tingling and itching in my scalp and body and hives on my forearms which partially responded to antihistamines. My doctor told me l may have a predisposition to allergy which has been triggered by prp injection. Can this be possible? If so, how long after the injection will the prp be active to cause this effect?
I'm 40 years old.I was diagnosed with early stage of male pattern baldness and I've been using finasteride since 1year ago.I've received 2 sessions of prp injection.Since 6 months ago(20 days after the second session of prp)I've experienced prickling, tingling and itching in my scalp, hands and feet, hives on my forearms, palpitation and hot flashes which partially responded to antihistamines and gradually improved but not completely. What's the cause?Should I receive third session of prp injection?
