I have 2 small (1x1 and 1x2) tattoos above both of my elbows. Both are all black. Ive now had 4 sessions with a PicoSure laser to remove both, and they look like virtually nothing has happened to them. Im so upset! My laser tech is very knowledgeable and has been experimenting with the settings to see if we can somehow get the ink to start breaking up. Any thoughts on why Im somehow immune to the laser? Is that even possible?! (Im in my early 20s, healthy, and the tattoos were done professionally)
Im an Asian woman in my mid forties . Got a laser burned mustache from having an IPL treatments. Then the doctors office did few more Picosure treatments to try to treat my burned mustache. After 4 times of the treatment there are no sign of improvement, then I switch to Tri-Luma (4%hydroquinone) for 2 months. There are no difference on my slightly blistered mustache burn. The Dr. suggested to do more Picosure treatments. What do you think I should do now?
I still Have 2more session tho so far, my tattoo doesn't change at all. I assume 1st and 4th session laser was light, cuz I asked its way too hurt after 3rd session. Should I ask to go back as same level of laser as 2nd and 3rd time? It doesn't necessary to be all gone but if it doesn't change even after 6times session, I just want them to pay me back my pain and money...
I have a very small Chinese character on back of my neck. I went here in suburb of New Orleans to begin the process of the tattoo removal and they have the Picosure machine. Although I had a few blisters afterwards, I see no difference. Not even fading, the girl who did the procedure said for my first time she had to do it on a four setting. I am not sure that I should not see any improvement. This was three weeks ago. I feel by now, some of the particles of ink should have faded.
Its now been a week and there is barely any difference. I did a patch test an hour before and it seems to be the only part of the tattoo actually doing something. The tattoo is 5 months old, it has browns, pink, blue, green and purples. I know that there is a small chance that the pink will fade completely but the rest almost looks the same. The flower on the top right was not lasered but everything else is. The only part that got small boils and scabs is the test patch. Is this normal? Tania
