I just had a consult for rf skin tightening for face, tummy and butt. The person I saw suggested 8 sessions once a week for all areas. This seemed really close together, so I just wanted to get another opinion. She said one is monopolar and the other is bipolar. Neither machine has a brand, so I am unsure what they are aside from mono/bi. Will weekly treatments cause harm to facial fat or anything else? I will try to provide pictures of what her devices look like
A local spa just started offering this as a service, but it mainly seems to me as being for skin smoothing and tightening. I have recently lost weight and still am, but I've always had the double chin no matter what weight I've been. Using the spa's ultrasound body sculpting services on my neck and chin have already improved the area as far as what I would classify as loose skin, but there is still the small bulge under the chin. Do you think Pelleve will help in reducing the appearance of this?
I have read reviews on both of these lasers from patients complaining of underlying fat depletion and the face looking more gaunt. Does the body continue to produce new collagen after about 70. If these lasers burn off underlying fat, how will new collagen form? Are these better procedures for younger patients?
i tried one pelleve treatment around the eyes for slight hooding of the eyelids. one week later i dont really see any resiults. i am supposed to do three, but at 550 per treatment, i woud like to find out if it is worth it for upper eye hooding. thanks
A friend of mine said there is a new laser called Pelleve, that is now available in the U.S. Just what does this laser do? What is the downtime for it? Is it ideal for a skin with minimal issues? I have a nice skin, (just minor jaw line problems), but I'm wondering, is Pelleve something that would help keep my nice skin smooth? I don't have wrinkles either. Thank you.
