Will Pelleve help reduce a double chin?

Pelleve can tighten the skin under the chin. the issue is that it needs to be done correctly and 4-5 sessions over 2 months are needed. Pelleve come with several hand pieces that can reach different depths. An experienced practitioner starts treating the deeper tissues and slowly moves to hand pieces that treat the more superficial skin. I try to achieve temperatures of 40-44 degree C. The key is that at these temperatures you see an immediate tightening and retraction of the skin that improved over the next 4-6 weeks. I bring patients back often. The heat and thermal injury developed by Pelleve causes your own body to make new Collagen and Elastic fibers. This new collagen synthesis tightens the skin. Brown spots and keratosis are not affected. I have also never seen fat necrosis at these temperatures. Again, pelleve is a great tool but needs to be used correctly to be safe and effective.

Hi, in my practice I find that Pelleve helps to improve the appearance of fine lines but if there is significantly loose skin the improvement tends to be minimal.  Hopefully the person administering the treatment can do a proper assessment of your neck then advise you about the possible outcome so you can make an informed decision whether the treatment would be worthwhile.
