I had a vertical sleeve done in June. My highest weight was 326, my surgery weight was 293 and i'm currently 254. I've been told a tummy tuck wouldn't be advisable because I still have 125 pounds to lose, but was wondering if a panniculectomy is possible because I still have a problem with the apron belly pulling down and throwing out my back and the rashes get painful if I forget baby powder. If it is possible now, will it affect my ability to get a tummy tuck in the future?
I had weight loss surgery (vertical Sleeve) I had 3 c-sections I lost a 130 pounds from surgery. Nothing fits clothes wise and its the only part of my body i cant loose weight on. I also started to have rushes under the fat. What can i say or do to be approved?
Hello I am a 26 year old female. I weigh 260 pounds. I struggle with a lot of hanging skin on my belly. I've had 3 c sections and I think they have really put a toll on my stomach. I have superior medicaid. I'm trying to see if I qualify for a panniculectomy. I called a surgeon, they said they do accept insurance for the procedure but I need to get a referral. How would I go about getting a referral from a doctor? What would I say? How can I get them to give me one? Would I qualify with my weight ?
I was just informed that a surgeon i was referred to here in Corpus Christi, Texas. Now, I'm 48 years old. I weigh about 250 right now which is more than I'd like to but at 5'6 I'd have to weigh under 190 to have that bmi. I have a multitude of health issues and although 190 was the lightest i got a few years ago i was unable to maintain. I am unable to exercise enough. I don't see that its likely I'll get to that weight but now I'm completely frustrated.
I weight 260lbs, want to lose 100lbs. I've been overweight my whole life and I am 18.5 years old. I need to know if it is likely that I will have excess skin, just so I can start saving up for a removal surgery. Thanks!
I'm 40 years old, I've had 4 full term Pregnancies ( fairly large babies) 3 csections. I now have a large saggy flap that has no feeling in it which I have cut and caught in the zipper .. I'm interested having it surgically removed and I'm curious to what the medical requirements are.. I weigh 250 and I do not have health problems beyond asthma ...And what the average recovery time would be .
