I am getting a mommy makeover the first week of December. I have a Carribean trip planned the second week of January. How can I expect my body to look in terms of swelling and discomfort? Could I wear a bikini? Can I swim etc?
I started having selling in my feet and ankles today and I'm five days post surgery. Should I be concerned? What do I need to do to alleviate selling? Walk more or elevate my feet, etc. I look nine months pregnant.
I gained 23lbs within 3 days of surgery, I have since lost 16lbs (I am 2 wks 1day postop). I feel my hips have gotten larger since surgery and I am carefully watching my intake of sodium & have drank only water for 2 weeks. It's not on common for me to swell, as I am extremely sensitive to sodium and salty foods, a single salty chip will make my fingers swell so much my wedding ring fits snug. This seems a little over the top to me though, I weigh in every morning, hoping it will disappear soon.
Following a mommy makeover procedure, are patients advised to walk around to speed up healing, or remain still to avoid swelling? I'm reading some doctors say you must not move much for the drains to do their job and reduce swelling, but others say to walk around and get blood moving... should I do a combination of both?
I am wondering if this really helps with swelling and bruising? I am going in for a tt and breast aug July 6 and would like to start taking or know what I can take after to help out. Does anyone recommend this?
Hi, im a 38 y.o. female . I had a tummy tuck July 2022 . I have been doing everthing thats has been suggested. I been in compression around the clock since the day of surgery. I had over 7 post opt massages ,using arnica gel, drink arnica tea daily, light exercise , drinking water , and pineapple juice. I blow up like a can of biscuits as soon as i take the garment off. I still have a flap of fat and love handles. Will this resolve itself or a another procedure is needed
I am scheduled for a MM in 4 weeks. I have read, and read, and read about before and afters, but no one has addressed how one should plan to dress after. I am clear that swelling will last for weeks depending on the person, procedure, etc. I am 5.6 about 195. I had my last child over 40. I have a heavy drooping belly. Once the TT is over, will I be able to wear my current clothes? How soon after the TT will I need to have smaller clothes available?
I had a full mommy make over 12 weeks ago with a muscle reconstruction, lipo, and breast implants.. i started exercising 3 weeks ago i usually go 3 x a week to not push myself and only maintain a healthy weight! I had a tummy tuck liposuction in my stomach breast lift and breast augmentation 10 days ago. I'm having burning in my left upper side and I'm still in significant amount of pain. What's really bothering me is there's a crease below my belly button as seen in the picture that just won't go away. also my belly button is so tiny and then there's a piece of skin hanging over the top is this all normal 10 days post-op? My plastic surgeon says it's swelling and my skin will settle out....
