I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from the right side of my forehead at the hairline 1 week ago. The Dr had to go in 3 times to get clear margins (was 1 1/4in diameter) and had to cauterize several areas during the procedure. I've had severe facial swelling extending to my eyes, cheeks, and jawline. I've had to miss work because of the swelling/pain. I have a lot of burning pain and discomfort that hydrocodone is not touching, but I'm taking Motrin during the day. Sutures have to be in for 3 weeks.
I had moh's surgery on a very small spot on my scalp. They only had to do one round. I was used to exercising daily. When can go back to exercising? I can scale the intensity back, but I don't think I can wait too long. I would wear a swim cap (Can wear 2 if needed). I won't do yoga since there is too much inversions, but how can this small surgery be a problem for everything else?
I recently had a Melamona In Situ removed from just above my eyebrow, they had to take the 5mm margins and added a skin graft as the area was too large to close with a skin flap as it would've altered shape of my eye. The operation have damaged the nerve which allows me to lift my eyebrow, are there any exercises I can do to try and help bring back movement or will time possibly improve this? Thank you
