Have some visible platysmal bands under my chin that show when I turn my neck as well as some skin laxity down the middle of my neck. Not ready for surgery yet and have had microneedling or sculptra suggested for neck improvement, but I'm aware improvement might be minimal, if any. I am considering microneedling since it's a better value and since I can treat my entire face too for overall skin texture improvement, but should I worry it might make my neck bands worse or more visible?
I got Radiesse in my neck and chest ~3 mo ago and I've recently noticed some lumps (mostly only visible if I stretch my neck). I learned after that I was my providers first Radiesse patient so I'm guessing the technique wasn't great. From what I've read, it sounds like it's best to massage the area and just wait it out. My question is if it's ok to do microneedling. I purchased 4 sessions (different provider) for my face/neck/chest and have already done 2 of them. Any issue with continuing?
I will be 40 this year. I have good skin overall. I do not drink, smoke or tan. I have been diligent about sun protection and have little to no wrinkling or obvious sun damage. For the past year or two I have noticed a crepey patch on the front of my neck. I have tried SkinTyte with multiple treatments over the past 2 years, topicals etc...My neck and jaw are tight overall and this appears to be a texture issue. I don't want to do more harm than good since this skin is so thin. Advice?
I have had these lines but dont now where they come from I thought its wrinkles So I went to a dermatologist and she confirmed it ,she injected fillers to it but I didnt see any changes so she said these are static lines Does Botox or microneedling help with it? When I lift my head up it gets better
My PS has recommended microneeding with PRP for the numbness on my neck 11 months post op from a necklift. I am skeptical this can work to improve skin sensation. I am also concerned this could make my neck tightness worse. I continue to have chronic tightness with squeezing/choking sensation around my throat 11 months post op. I am fine with my skin quality and would only want this if it was helpful for sensory nerve damage after my necklift. Would you recommend this treatment for me?
I'm a 41 yo man. I'm losing fullness in my face, sagging, as well as crepeing in my neck. I'm considering micro coring and/or micro needling with RF. Can someone help me understand the pros/cons of each and what they would recommend? I'm clear that anything shared here needs to be taken in context that none of you have seen me in person. The feedback will help me round out my POV after I see a few doctors in person. Thank you in advance!
I have hyperpigmentation on my neck that has a stark contrast from the color of my skin where my hairline starts. I'm bald and shave my head, so I can't hide the skin under my hair. The contrast, blotchy color and the deep creases in my neck really bother me. I would love this skin to be smoother in color and texture. I've tried Halo, but am not seeing a major difference in the texture or color of the back of my neck. Would love recommendations for treatment and upkeep. Thank you!
I have serious skin damage on my neck caused by continuous use of high potency steroid Advantan. I was using Advantan on my neck for intermittently more than a year and discontinued since one year ago. My current skin condition is still bad due to steroid induced skin atrophy. Can microneedling with growth factor help repair the dermis and epidermis?
