Hi. About two months ago I received kenalog injections under my eye to remove filler. I also received a micro needling treatment that went too deep. As my skin started to heal I noticed a hard, yellow lump under the skin near my eye. The skin under my eye is also thin now, and you can see the lump right through the skin. Could this lump be caused by the kenalog or the micro needling? It hasnt gotten smaller. Im at a loss.
After the work was done, the doctor told me that the swelling would go down, but it never did. He kept giving me Kybella every other month, but it never got better, and in fact it got worse. He kept stalling on and eventually, once the year passed by he stopped taking my calls.
I also have scarring on my chin from cold sores over the years which I now control with Lysine. I would like to diminish both as best as possible. I feel like my scars and laugh lines look like deep wrinkles. I was considering microneedling with PRP, I am concerned about fat transfers not working ir causing lumps.
I had a phenol croton peel done one year ago that has left me with patches of hypopigmentation and scarring across both my cheeks. One practitioner has recommended micro needling with nano fat and maybe Regenera, but I'm scared of causing more damage with microneedling. Another practitioner is prepared to do just nano fat. I've read how nano fat can help reverse dermal fibrosis. Is there any risk of lumps with nano fat or making anything worse?
I had the derma pen treatments 3x now. The first 2 wks it looks like it was working but after that it started to have lumps & bumps & my skin looks worser than before I had the procedures done. I'm very frustrated because now I have more fine lines and more larger pores on my skin and my scar is more noticeable ! Can someone pls tell me what I can do to help my skin back to normal .
I had a mid-face facelift 3wks ago. The scars at my temporal hairline & are thick & lumpy. Based on my history of wound healing, I am distressed about the probable long-term outcome. I have been instructed to massage the scars for 30min daily to break up the collagen structure & stimulate collagen & elastin production. The mechanism of action of Collagen Induction Therapy, CIT, (micro-needling) is described similarly. Could CIT be helpful during this active phase of my scar healing?
