I had a bite that became infected, it took about 4 weeks to heal. I noticed that as it healed it left a little dip in my skin that bothers me. 4 weeks after the bite had fully healed I had microneedling (I had scheduled this anyway before I was bitten). Im wondering if there is anything else I can do to encourage the mark to fill in and heal or whether my microneedling (I have 2 more sessions scheduled) will be enough? Is there a chance over time this will heal on its own? Thanks
I went through a phase where it taped my nose very tightly and am now left with stubborn hyperpigmentation and indentations. Is there any way to restore the skin back with any treatments (micro needling, filler, laser)?
My nasolabial fold is more of an indent, it doesn't look like other nasolabial folds I see of others my age. I don't want filler and an esthetician I saw recently suggested Skin Pen Microneedling with PRP. Will that or the perfect derma peel help?
I have a series of linear indentations on my forehead that appeared 4-6 months post laser resurfacing. I have been told by some that it is vascular. Others have said it is volume loss due to too much energy being used on those passes. Almost everyone just wants to use more lasers, and Im unsure. They are not very deep. Are not visible from the front but can be seen from the sides and from the top like attached image. Is this something microneedling could fully correct?
I have a few indented scars that go deep below the surface. Every doctor Ive spoken to have referred me to micro needling. My question was is micro needling effective for indented scars. Ive also done sublative radio frequency aka ematrix and that did nothing for the scar. How does micro needling compare from sublative radio frequency/ematrix. Im in desperate need and I dont want to waste my money again like I did with the ematrix sessions
After the skin is microneedled, what is the correct application of PRP on the face? Should it be massaged into the skin, or just poured on the skin? How long should PRP be left on the skin to be effective? I am going in for treatment of atrophic and indented acne scars.
I've had an indented scar on the middle of my nose for 4 years. It happened from falling outside and hitting my nose. A couple years ago I tried 3 sessions of microneedling but it didn't seem to help. A doctor suggested a filler, but I read those are risky on the nose. Would any topical treatments such as retinoids help? Should I try microneedling again? I don't want to waste more money.
Im left with pitted scars which are espacially visible when smiling or moving the face. I want to find a way to regain my full cheeks without indentations (or as minimal as possible). Still have active acne but I plan to get to the scar treatment as soon as my skin clears. Im thankful for any tips, wether microneedling will help me effectively, because my scars seem tethered.
I had microneedling done at a med spa here in Orlando. After the technician treated my cheeks (the reason for my visit, for old acne scarring), she decided to spot-treat two specific areas under my eyes. Each area was a line about an inch long. The two lines were red and bloody after treatment, and the next morning they were indented and very dark. Three months post-procedure, I have scars in these spots. Please advise re: what may have happened, and what correction might be possible.
