Microneedling + Cystic Acne Q&A

After dealing with cystic acne my skin is almost clear, but I have some minor scaring I would like to address. What procedure would be best for my type of scarring?

I am currently healing from a large acne cyst on my cheek that got infected. It has been empty and healing for the last week, but has left me with raised scarring with a pit in the middle. However, I have seen a lot of improvement in just a week and have been using a silicone sheet almost 24/7. There are no longer any signs of infection or inflammation, just looking for how to minimize scarring.

I have some pretty deep back acne scars from cysts. I was wondering if you can do microneedling on the back too?

I had 2 derma pen treatments in 2015, I year ago for the first one and 6 weeks later, the second. I had track mark like bruises all over my face for 4 days after the treatments. She told me the first time couldn't be explained so we'd try again. Since the second treatment, I have battled horrible cystic acne and small bumps completely covering my entire face. My skin is dry and scaly and is always red. Is there anything I can do to fix this or did Derma Pen ruin my face?

I had a treatment with an off-brand skinpen type device by my dermatologist. Very trustworthy office. 1-2 weeks after my treatment(and for weeks beyond that)I broke out with awful cyst-like acne- very deep & far beyond normal for my skin. I have another treatment scheduled 1 week but my face is just recovering from round 1 pimples. Are breakouts like that normal from microneedling treatments with SkinPen? (Was seeking treatment for skin tone, texture, lines, etc.) Should I go back for round 2?

I've heard that a series of micro needling can be more effective than dermabrasion. Is this true? I'm looking to improve the texture of my skin after horrible cystic acne.
