I got microneedling done 48 hours ago. I noticed hardly any redness or pinpoint bleeding that day. The next day my skin became pink and irritated and itchy, today my skin is bright red and covered with bumps everywhere. How should I proceed? Is this permanent? The depth was 1mm-2mm.
It's been 27 hours and I'm still nearly unrecognizable due to the swelling and it's impacting my eyesight. I have sensitive skin, however, I'm not that red. Not sure the size of needle (will confirm when clinic opens). I've been icing it and took benadryl (knowing this may counteract the collagen production). I've never experience an allergic reaction like this before. I have only used my regular cleanser and moisturizer today, so shouldn't be that. How can I reduce the swelling? Thanks!
I had 3 microneedling session, 2 weeks apart. My therapist used hyaluronic acid. Other than a bit of redness I had no side affects. I had my 4th treatment and she used collagen gel with the treatment. I had a severe reaction afterwards. I went to see my GP and prescribed a 5 day course of prednisalone steroid tablets. The manufacturer of the gel says the collagen gel should not have been used alongside microneedling treatments. Has anyone any information on this please ?
I had RF Micro-needling done 6 days ago. The clinic I used is closed today. I had the normal swelling and redness that went away with 24-48 hours. However, I still have raised itchy bumps everywhere. I am concerned that this might remain this way or that it might be some sort of allergic reaction. What can I do to alleviate the bumps and is this normal?
It has been about a week since I had the procedure done. Right now I have small red bumps on my face and neck as well as itching. Is this an allergic reaction? What can I apply topically to help with the healing/reduce this effect?
I recently had a very bad reaction the first time I had microneedling done. I woke up the next day with swollen blisters that turned into pustules or even pimples it seemed like. I'm not sure if I reacted badly to the peel she applied afterwards that they have apparently been using on everyone or the hyaluronic acid?
