I had it done at a spa on 3/31/18. When I got home my nose was red, and where I had pimples was red and the skin there was broken. The redness has gone away except for some spots on my nose. The broken skin are closed up. The tip of my nose has a small red blotch, Is this a broken capillary or will it go away? Is it possible she over did it?
I had microdermabrasion for the first time by an esthetician. It was very painful during the neck portion of the treatment. I now have bruising, extreme redness, and chin acne (didnt have any acne going into the appointment). Im concerned about permanent damage (broken capillaries and/or blood vessels) on my neck and face. Is this normal? How long until Im healed? What products can I use to heal faster? This was totally unexpected and no warnings were given about this prior to treatment.
I used skin fx revit. Microdermabrasion diamond tip. I used the coarsest tip. I now have lines all over my face.I have scarred myself. What should I do? I am 61 years old and have taken care of my face for years. I am sick. Do you have any recommendations?
I went to the dermatologist today and he recomended microdermabrasion for me. It surprised me because I have broken capillaries and I thought that this was a contraindication for microdermabrasion. I asked him and he said that my broken capillaries were caused by sun exposure and that I had no risk to get more from a microdermabrasion. Still, I'm not convinced about this. What do you think?
