I think I broke the capillaries. How do I treat this?

I used skin fx revit. Microdermabrasion diamond tip. I used the coarsest tip. I now have lines all over my face.I have scarred myself. What should I do? I am 61 years old and have taken care of my face for years. I am sick. Do you have any recommendations?

Thank You Emilia for your question. Microdermabration is a very effective means of treating multiple issues effectively. It can cause scratches if too course of a setting or tip is used. contact a board Certified Plastic Surgeon to consult on your treatment options. A good treatment plan is the best place to start.

Hi Emilia,It is difficult to say what's the best plan of action without a photograph, but I would encourage you to use gentle skin cleansers, lots of gentle emollients (such as Vanicream or Cicalfate) and be very cautious about avoiding the sun. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen at all times when outdoors.
