I want to get my upper arms done, i have wated this procedure for so long, but every time I intend to have it, I read about the possible complications and it freaks me out, I am a medical practitioner myself, I read so many papers. I am worried about developing fat embolism or fat embolism syndrome in one paper I read that 0.5 to 2% of the patients undergoing liposuction develop this complication yet its subclinical, I am worried, i don't feel comfortable with the fat in my arms, yet i don't feel 100% safe performing this procedure.
I am a 36 year old female. Diagnosed since my early 20s with PCOS. I am 53 currently 133lbs, lowest weight before COVID 120. I am bumping up exercise to 4-5 days a week cause I want to go back to triathlons. Will lipo360 help flatten my belly and back? And liposuction for my upper arms as well? Were looking at $7k and I want to know if anyone has seen NO difference for someone whose BMI is around 23.
Hi, I would like to know if there is a possibility of damage armpit sweat glands after going through an upper arm lipo procedure? I realized that after my procedure, I don't perspire much at the armpit area, but other areas such as the neck, perspires more than before. Thank you!
Im very loosely considering liposuction of some sort to my upper arms, flanks, mid/upper back. these areas have been resistant to diet, exercise, and strength training for my entire life. I cannot wear compression garments, I can hardly tolerate spanx or any constrictive clothing. Are any types of lipo possible without requiring post op garment?or is a garment absolutely necessary? what happens if one is not worn?
I would like to have minimally invasive liposuction of my upper arms (local anesthetic) done the days following running a marathon. I know ideally I would wait a week or longer, but with my schedule, it looks like this is the only time I can make it work. Other than proper hydration, are there any real concerns for a healthy individual to undergo a procedure this soon after running? I will be properly trained/prepared for the race - currently run 35+ miles prior to marathon training.
I am 5'3 and 130 lbs . I'm looking at having some lipo on my bra bulge, my upper arms and my thighs. I work out 5 days a week and am in pretty good shape. Does not seem like it would be a surgery that would require an overnight stay but during my consult, they said it would be necessary. I don't have health issues. Is this an odd requirement or a normal ask from a PS given my scenario.
I would like the top arm fat lipo-ed and detailed around the muscles. I came across the name celebrity arms and associated it with one doctor, but want to check out other surgeons who specialize in this technique. I don't just want the standard lipo under the upper arms, I would like the HD arms, but don't know what else to search under. Is it hit or miss and shall I call up plastic surgeons and ask these specifics? That is a lot of inquiring! Thanks all. Either Melbourne, Aus doctors or USA doctors will be alright.
Hi there, I'm hoping to get 360 lipo on my mid section, upper arms and inner thighs to knees. I'm going to be getting a tattoo on my left hip down to my outer thigh. How long after I get my tattoo should I wait to get these lipo procedures? Also, would thigh lipo interfere with my tattoo art? (I have no pictures at the moment, sorry) Some more info.: I'm 24 years old, 5'5, 178 lbs, and a BMI of 35%. Is lipo even suitable for me? Should I lose more weight first? I've been having some difficulty.
I'd like to have lipo on my waist, flanks, thighs and upper arms and am wondering whether to lose weight before or afterwards. I read that fat cells shrink when you lose weight, so my question is does the liposuction remove ALL cells- the full/fat ones AND the ones that have shrunk with weight loss? If that's the case I will probably lose weight before the surgery, but if it only removes the full cells then I won't lose weight first as would like to permanently remove as many fat cells as poss!
