I received liposuction on my flanks about 7 days ago. One of the incisions that my surgeon left open is not covered or stitched up. There was some light yellow discharge. Does it look fine and is there anything I can do to take better care of it? I am waiting for my surgeon to respond back to my email.
Super gross, apologies! 5 weeks post op from trim method Labiaplasty which went really well, my recovery has been great until a week or so ago I noticed I was getting thick white discharge coming from my vagina as well as an odour. I've tried to photograph as well as I can. I have a check up in a weeks time anyway, but I'm unsure what this could be as I've been keeping the area clean etc! All my stitches haven't dissolved as you can see in the photos. Any advice would be great!
I received liposuction of the lower/upper abdomen and flanks. I took antibiotics the day before the surgery, the day of, and the day after. I was also given Arnika Forte. 2 days after, I noticed some small green/yellow fluid discharge from my incisions that has a slight odor to it. So far no fever. I called my surgeon and he said it's only serous fluid. Should I worry that it's an infection and not only serous fluid? The thing that concerns me is the slight odor.
I have had 6 surgeries: C-section, Tubal ligation, Umbilical hernia repair, major abdominoplasty, and Liposuction, which were done 8 1/2 - 9 years ago; and Lapiscopic surgery which was done 3 years ago. Since the Lapiscopic surgery, I still experience pain and smelly discharge directly behind my navel. Is it possible that there may be something terribly wrong that the last surgeon may have missed or maybe caused? Please help!
