Hello surgeons, If 360 liposuction to the calves, thighs, and hips are done as a debulking surgery and then the patient returns 6+ months later for a thigh lift, how many liters is done during the thigh lift as the touch up liposuction portion of the surgery? After my liposuction debulking procedure, I was told Id have touch up lipo during my thigh lift 6 months later and Im concerned that if too many liters are removed, that the swelling will impact the skin excision. Thank you!
I got Lipo 360 back in September and Ive reached my 6 month mark. Ive noticed some irregularities as well as a little bit of leftover fat. The dr has marked the areas which he said he could touch up. Maybe it's just me but I still think I have a little bit of fat in both flank areas as well as my overall lower abdomen in general. I would like more opinions if it's possible for anything more to be removed besides what he has mentioned. Thank you!
Hello, my surgeon has suggested a touch up after my VASER procedure due to the irregulares left behind ( 3 pockets of fat ) but he suggests local traditional lipo instead of VASER as a second opinion has suggested. Do we use traditional lipo or VASER as a touch up procedure or traditional lipo? Thank you
Hi. I had 2 previous liposuction and after each one, i'm left with an uneven stomach, I have to lumps on my upper stomach and a small depression under my belly button. After these 2 botched liposuction I really don't want to have another complete liposuction. I would like to know if it's possible to flatten the two lumps I surrounded in red on the picture and add some fat in the small depression surrounded in blue?
I had liposuction 6 months ago and up with a few contour irregularities. They look like mogul-type lumps, not dimply like cellulite. My plastic surgeon said he could do a touch-up with a cannula that resembles a cheese grater, but not remove any more fat. He said this would help smooth the lumps. But he also mentioned that one complication of using this instrument could be damage to the blood supply to the overlying skin. He hasn't seen this personally, but it does worry me. Is this a good procedure to smooth out lumps, and are the risks to the skin worth it?
I had lipo on my belly late July and while my upper abdomen healed great, it appears the doctor missed right under my belly button, which seemed evident after surgery as it was puckered when I was swollen, but now that I am 3 months out, its obviously residual fat. He said he could do a minor touch up, which is unfortunate since I am happy to be finally healed and out of that garment full time. Are minor touch ups minor? Also how long should I wait before doing this?
