This is repeat surgery of lipoma that came back a few times. Not only do I have an indent like last time, but it seems to go deeper in one area making it worse than last scar. It's four months post surgery. Would massaging scar area help? Would massaging help some tissue move in that area? Also, scar very red for 4 months out. I used silicone sheets, but not as much as last time, as I felt after taking it off it looked redder. Sometimes I put vaseline on as I read hydration helps.
I have a non-encased lipoma/fatty mass on the back of my neck (over C7, but diffuse). I'd had it for as long as I could remember; it was surgically excised in January 2016, but it grew back as a more acute, less diffuse mass that seemed to push on my nerves and cause neck pain/headaches. Excised again by the same surgeon -- an awesome, lauded Cornell doc -- in December 2016 and now, in April 2017, it's grown back and is again causing neck pain/headaches. What now? It's painful and ugly!
I had a lower back lipoma that was removed back in Oct 2017 due to pain. I now feel a lump right under that scar. It does come with pain after my long 12 hr shift at hospital. The pain feels like a pulling pain. What could it be? A lipoma or torn/tearing of scar tissue?
I had a lipoma removed from the outside of my thigh at the top in October 2016, it was the size of a small melon & still have swelling. I had a drain left in for two days after surgery & had it drained several times. In the beginning every week, then biweekly & then last time was in January 2017. I am still not able to sleep on this sise as it hurts (max 10mins) and this was my predominant sleepside. The lump is now still there and swollen will it ever go? Should I have it drained again?
4 months ago, I undergo a surgery to remove a lipoma on my right upper back, near the scapula side.Histopath results show its a Lipoma. Wounds Completely healed. But Right now Im starting to feel numbness and weakness in my right arm, radiating in my shoulder, neck and lower back right side. Is it normal to feel like this? Im worried that maybe its progressing to a malignant type. after all I read about Liposarcoma. thank you
