I have a gummy smile it's not too bad, but still enough to where I don't like to smile or laugh much because I don't want people to notice. I have already been considering lip injections because I feel my lips are too small, but I was just wondering if I do go through with it, will it finally make me comfortable enough to smile as huge as I want?
Hi, Im curious to know if pressure in the lips from smiling, laughing, crying/sobbing, etc in the first few days after getting the procedure can push/move lip filler at all, especially into unwanted areas like the philtrum or elsewhere around the lips? Is there a point where the filler completely sets in place or is migration always a possibility? Migration is one of my biggest fears. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I would like to know if those lips muscle will get used if I will control my smile consciously, because I make a gummy smile just when I laught spontaneously . I mean that normally with a little effort I can make a beautiful smile and keep my upper lip where it should be. Just when I am in the mood (you know that feeling you cannot stop laughting about sth that make you automatically smile), it draw my lip up automatically, instead of drowing smile into the sides.
Hi Doctors, I am in my 30s and do not have obvious frown lines yet. But when I talk and laugh, the corners of my mouth/lips are pulled down by the DAO muscle as if I am sad or upset. Could releasing the DAO muscle help my mouth from pulling down so I could have a happier smile? If I had the DAO release, would I be drooling unconsciously or like having Bell Palsy? Would the surgery consider complicated ? I am looking for permanent solution, so Botox injection to the muscle would be my second choice.
