I am 55 and have had lash extentions. I would like to use latisse but i am seeing so many comments on here that it is leading too fat loss, dark circles and wrinkles. Is this a commoon side effect off using latisse. Thankyou!!
Ive heard Latisse (for some people) has caused fat loss in the face? If I use Latisse on my eyebrows, will I lose fat around my brow bone/eye area? My face is very slim to begin with, so Im worried about having a gaunt looking face. Thank you for answering.
doctors, i have come to see that some years ago, there was a scare among patients using latisse and worrying about periorbital fat loss. Many doctors explained that the side effect is more common when patients use this medication as a glaucoma treatment, with the drops applied directly into the eye, BUT NOT ON the eyelid as used for growing eyelashes. Are many patients still complaining about this side effect? Please see my attached photos, does it look like i have periorbital fat loss? ***UPDATE: Replaced photos September 24, 2018
Hello, I recently bought latisse from my dermatologist's office. He didn't mention anything about the possibility of periorbital fat loss, however, looking around this site I see countless women and doctors claiming that it does indeed cause this. Does this happen to most people? Is there a way to avoid it? Is it permanent? Thanks!
I'm am considering trying Bimatoprost (Latisse/Careprost), but I'm concerned about the risk of periorbital fat loss around the eyes which is apparently a documented side effect of long-term use. Can you tell me how likely it is to happen, and whether it's reversible if it does? My lashes seem shorter and thinner than they were when I was younger (45 now), but the skin around my eyes looks good now and I don't want to end up with a new problem.
Hello I noticed after using Latisse I ended up getting eyelid orbital fat loss . Leaving m with my right eye being sunken I stopped using product for about a month now and it's still there I have a picture of how my eye looked before Latisse and after . I'm only 19 so this is very depressing I look and feel so ugly I wanna cry.
Physicians, what are your thoughts on eye area fat loss with Latisse use? I've read a recent study on PubMed that concludes that bimatoprost can cause fat loss in the areas both above and below the eyes, and deepending of the upper lid sulcus. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this. Are we trading long lashes for older looking eyes?
