If applied as directed you should not see any signs of periorbital fat loss. Although, this can be a side effect if prolonged administration in the eye. Hope this helps.
Latisse should not cause periorbital fat loss. If you feel you have had some loss of fat around your eyes, I would consider other causes.
Periorbital lipodystrophy, or fat loss, is a rare but well-documented side effect of long-term bimatoprost (Lumigan) eyedrops for glaucoma. These eyedrops are placed directly in the eye, as opposed to Latisse, which is applied to the eyelid skin. Still, this is a possibility for Latisse use because it is applied to the eye area. The most common side effects of Latisse use are eyelid itching and redness. Please be sure to use Latisse as directed by your doctor.
There is no reason that Latisse should cause periorbital fat loss. I would consult with your doctor to determine the actual cause of the fat loss.
Latisse has never been shown to cause periorbital fat loss. Bimatoprost (the active ingredient in Latisse) may be associated with periorbital fat loss in patients who use it daily for many years for glaucoma. The association with this is interesting and poorly understood but if used as directed it would be unlikely that Latisse could do this.
