I have strabismus in my left eye. I had eye surgery when I was 16 to align my eye. However that lasted only 5 years and my eye moved back. I don't have prisms in my glasses. My prescription is what aligns my eye. I'm quite far-sighted in both eyes. My doctor has mentioned getting Lasik because I fall within range. I'm concerned how that will affect my strabismus. Will that help align my eye? My visual acuity is OD 20/20 OS 20/20 OU 20/20 -1. Not sure if that helps.
I'm looking to get Strabismus surgery to correct my lazy eye but also some years down the road I would like to invest in getting lasik for helping with my vision problem is it possible to be able to get both surgeries
I am wearing glass from fifth grade for server myopia -6/6 both eye, and now I did LASIK surgery Now i feel like i have strabismus , ptosis in my left eye that increase by stress is that normal , i was not have this when i was wearing glass
Hi, I am 18 year old and I'm considering the Lasik surgery for my myopia. My prescription is about -4 in each eye, and I am now allergic to lenses following a keratitis. The thing is; I've got a strabismus surgery when I was about 3. Seems like it was well done, cause I don't get the lazy eye anymore, except when I'm really tired.
