LASIK surgery and Strabismus?

LolaCannon
I have strabismus in my left eye. I had eye surgery when I was 16 to align my eye. However that lasted only 5 years and my eye moved back. I don't have prisms in my glasses. My prescription is what aligns my eye. I'm quite far-sighted in both eyes. My doctor has mentioned getting Lasik because I fall within range. I'm concerned how that will affect my strabismus. Will that help align my eye? My visual acuity is OD 20/20 OS 20/20 OU 20/20 -1. Not sure if that helps.
