Im a 29-year-old dark-skinned female seeking recommendations to improve crepey skin under my eyes, reduce the issue of bunching when I smile, and address the appearance of crows feet. Additionally, I have concerns about scarring. Any insights or suggestions tailored to my specific needs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your valuable help!
I'm 31 and, in general, my skin is still very youthful. But after years of smoking/indoor tanning, I'm noticing volume loss above my lips and the formation of two small lines in the perioral region. Right now the lines are barely noticeable but I know they will only get worse. I'm considering tiny amounts of botox to relax my lip muscles, and profractional laser resurfacing to reduce my lines and increase collagen. Is laser resurfacing every several months a good course of action for me?
I had fractionated ablative erbium combined with non ablative erbium 4.5 months ago for sun damage, sagging skin and fine lines. After four months the improvement is almost non existent. I'm 33 yo and I was told the settings were very high. Healing process was corresponding with high settings too. I don't believe it will improve from now on. All fine lines in the mouth and eye area are still there. I thought that fine lines would be erased since they're not deep. Any explanation? Thank you.
Hi Doctors, as the title says it seemed I've drawn the short straw in regards to my skin. All my conditions are early stage including redness not being too bad. My current Dermatologist wants to put me on a long term low dose of Accutane with 3 - 4 IPL sessions a year. How long can I stay on a 3 10mg pills a week and is it even possible to control my conditions and give me confidence until an older age where I care a little less about my appearance. Thank you for time.
I'm 34 years old and I have both nasolabial folds and melasma. I also have fine lines under my eyes and some faint hyperpigmentation. Would a laser resurfacing procedure get rid of all of the above? If so, which one? Or should they be treated separately? I was thinking laser because nothing I've tried for my melasma over the past 10 years has worked but I'm worried about making my melasma worse. I also have some small scars so I'm assuming a laser would treat all of my issues... right?
I'm woman 32 years old, Hispanic skin and acne scars, never overwheight but I've had a laxity and flaccidity problem on my skin years ago since young, my body's skin in general never looked firm and it has always looked saggy. At my early 20's I started to have expression lines and saggy skin overall in my cheeks, eyelids and one side dropped eyebrow. I took picture but it looks worst in person. I had treatments that didn't work, i don't know what is better for this problem:laser, RF or other?
Hello, I have acne scars and stains, but I also have rosacea. I believe that I need to get both treatments, but which one to do first? Rosacea or microdermabrasion? I'm 33 years old and trying to repair my skin. Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.
Hi, I am a 31 year old Southeast Asian Female. I have a history of keloid formation (my mother has them) and I have a small one on my chest. I recently received ablative facial laser (Lucas machine) on 1x1cm spot on my right cheek. From my perspective, the procedure was well-executed with no complications. I am very worried that it will develop into a keloid. What are the chances of keloid formation, and what can I do to minimise this?
