I had IPL treatment on my lower legs about a week ago and my skin had a terrible reaction, it didnt hurt or sting even no blisters just a terrible reaction from the laser, first it was red bumps everywhere and was itchy and a week after im left with brown pigmentation on my legs everywhere, is this going to scar forever? What should i do to treat it. Please Help
I had IPL on my face, chest and forearms. The nurse said she didn't change the settings on the laser but my arms burned badly. It's been a year. Is there anything I can use to help the appearance of my arms?
I went to get a cat scratch scar removed on my chest. It seems the Dr made it much worse and bigger. Can I fix this new scar? Is there any way to help this new scar and bring back my skin as it was? Im hopeless. Pictures are from 1st treatment to 3rd. I am supposed to go back for treatments 4 and 5, but I feel this man is making it worse and deceiving me. He said this is ok and safe for dark skin.
During my process with the complications of hyaluronic acid I have gone through several drains of nodules that have left marks on my skin, both small scar on both sides of the nasogenians and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Currently on track to end the problem with hyaluronidase. it can be done ipl while it lasts treatment with hyaluronidase?
I have had two prior Fraxel laser treatments on a scar on the top side of my forearm, with the goal of improving indentation and color. At the third session, IPL was also administered. It has been one week and I am still concerned about the discoloration and healing. The first picture is how the scar looked a few days prior to the treatment including IPL. The second is from today, 7 days after. Should I seek another physician at this point?
I had an IPL treatment at high rated medspa. During procedure, physician didn't test and went ahead did my left face & chin. I told her it was really painful. She lower level for the rest of my face. However, my chin was on fire the rest of the day and couldn't sleep without ice pack on. Now my chin is red, darken up, blistering and has come liquid. I contacted medspa, they said it's normal n want to apply plasma for me .*Is plasma going to help and right thing to do?Will it leave me scar?
Hi, I got IPL done on my right armpit and the lady put the laser on high voltage resulting in the burn shown in the photo. Will it scar? What can I do to reduce the pain. I have been instructed by the lady conducting the IPL, to use antiseptic cream. What is the best method to help the healing process? Thanks for any input
Will these scar or will they heal? It was done to get rid of a couple old scan scars and now ended up looking like this. The technician says that she will begin genesis treatments in five weeks, six sessions of it for free.
In mid-August of 2016 I had IPL treatment done where she left a scar. I will not be seeing her again for any additional full face IPL treatments, this was her fault. I was very careful not to move during the treatment. I'm currently using Mederma PM at night with a band-aid. She has offered to go over the area with IPL to help lighten the scar. Should I take her up on her offer? Will it do any good?
