My upper teeth are the issue. My two upper canines are very high up in my gums, one more than the other, and protrudes a bit so I get sores on my lip from it often. My uoper teeth amsp arent aligned straight with my face. Kind of like tom cruise before he got his aligned. I dony care about thr overbite issue much but i care most about the upper canines being so severely misplaced.
I have worn braces from 12 till 14. But my tooth have moved and now im at a point where i don't like it anymore. The things that I don't like: - from the side I have lots of space between teeth - my gumline is is not even. I don't mean it vertically, but my gumline is more INwards (see picture from below) - i feel like my canines are too big and pointy and show space between my teeth. - overall, i dont like Should i chose for invisalign or normal braces, or something else? thanks in advance
Over the years dental professionals have complimented me on my straight teeth and asked if I've ever had braces. I have not :) Generally, I love my teeth. Vertically speaking, they are quite straight. Horizontally, however, my gum line and teeth are lower on my upper left side (right side in photo). Gingivoplasty didn't help. This tilt makes me feel very self conscious about my smile. Would this be best corrected by intrusion? And if so, can that be done with invisalign?
Hi there. I have a fairly complicated case of crowding and crossbite. More so crowding with a cross bite of 2 teeth. I just moved onto my third set of trays - my orthodontist has me changing them weekly since Align Technology came out with the smart track material. Anyway, It looks as though my tray isn't fitting properly over my right canine and also the tray on the bottom seems a little short as in it does not go all the way to just above my gum line, but a millimeter or so above. What do you think?
At the end of my last set of trays I noticed the tray at gum line of my two front teeth was pushing away from the surface of my teeth and leaving a bit of a gap between it and the tray. When I started tray 11 it was sitting flat on my teeth again. However, a few days of wearing it and it has starting to do the same thing as the last tray. I have two attachments on my both my front teeth and my trays are seating well and sitting flush otherwise. Is this normal?
i have several chipped molars should i get them pulled first because most are really dark inside and some are chipped to gum line i believe they are decayed should i get those pulled first and my gum disease taking care of first before start a invisalign? i have no insurance so i would need a payment plan is that possible ?
The gumline is too low over my top canine teeth. A periodontist said a gumlift cannot bedone without veneers due to insufficient enamel. Gumlift can be done over central incisors. Can the canine teeth be raised with Invisalign or are metal braces required?
Ive started my Invisalign journey 10 weeks ago and Im on my 10th aligner. Today I took a good look of the progress and Ive realised that I have a canted/tilted smile because my teeth are obviously not aligned. Can Invisalign fix this?
